Suzanne Glenton
is known for her sophisticated designs, reminiscent of the glamour
of the 1930s and 50s and of an era when screen
legends such as Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn were admired as
much for their style as their beauty.
Her designs are elegant and unfussy and show an appreciation of
sumptious fabrics such as crepes, duchesse satin and silk zibeline,
which flatter the figure and hang beautifully, bias-cut skirts
skim the hips and dresses are finished off with intricate beading,
which show a close attention to detail.
Suzanne makes a point of seeing all her clients personally. This
initial meeting helps her to build up a picture of each individual
and the style of their wedding, taking into account the type of
ceremony, venue, flowers etc as well as the bride herself, her
figure and taste. She is then able to work closely with a client
to find the right style of dress to suit the occasion, whether
grand and extravagant or relaxed and informal.
She also offers a service for mother of the bride and attendants,
a selection of beautiful bridal shoes by Diane Hassall, alongside
a collection of tiaras and headdresses by Polly Edwards and Blossom.
Because all clients are seen on a one-to-one basis, visits to
the showroom are on an appointment only basis, even if only to
view accessories.
